ANU Connect Ventures manages a $30 million fund and will invest in early-stage commercial opportunities arising out of research at the ANU, and other ACT-based research institutions and R&D companies.

Proof-of-Concept investment

ANU Connects Ventures may, as part of its evaluation of an investment opportunity, sponsor proof-of-concept research, market testing, and business planning.

Maximum Proof-of-Concept Investment: $50,000

Pre-Seed/Seed investment

ANU Connect Ventures will consider pre-seed/seed investments of up to $500,000 per enterprise. Funds will ordinarily be provided in two or more tranches against measurable and meaningful milestones.

Maximum Pre-Seed/Seed Investment: $500,000

Follow-On investment

Investee companies in receipt of pre-seed/seed investment from ANU Connect Ventures will be eligible for follow-on funding from an ANU, MTAA co-investment program.
